Hi, I’m Whitney.

Thank you for exploring my painting fan deck. Nothing substitutes for standing in front of a painting, but these cards carry its colors, and I like the idea of them traveling into your projects ahead of the work itself.

I build my paintings in layers of acrylic, oil, and textile, so the surfaces hold relief and shadow. A piece reads one way at ten in the morning and another at eight at night, and collectors tell me they're still finding things in a painting months after it goes up.

What I'm after is color, texture, and what a work does to the feeling of a room. I love working with designers to place pieces that grow into a space, and to plan for work that can move as a collection develops.

I work between studios in Portland and New York and am represented by Russo Lee Gallery in Portland. Below you'll find available work with scale and pricing.
